Table formatting in Descriptions and definitions

When populating descriptions and definitions it was quite useful to be able to paste in cells with the formatting directly from Excel. 

The updated UI does not allow this, only allows pasting of plain text.

Is this how it will remain or will we be able to paste tables in again?
